Field Trip: Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave

A few months ago we took a drive to Lookout Mountain to see the sights. While we were there, we noticed a little musuem. We checked it out and found out it was the Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave. Last time we didn't have the chance to check out the museum, and Wyatt brought it back up and said he really wanted to see inside. So, we decided to go check it out since it's not too far from us and the views are always nice! We went inside the museum and learned some things about Buffalo Bill (at least as much as the 5 year old attention span allows...), took some pictures of things they thought were cool, and tried on some sweet cowboy gear! ;-) Then we went outside because Wyatt really wanted to see where his "stone" was since we didn't get to see it before. Turns out it is just behind the museum at the top of the hill, and it was really pretty cool looking. Buffalo Bill actually requested to be buried at the top of Lookout Mountain, and honestly I can see why. It's a beautiful view, and it was a great day of learning!
