Dyed Flower Experiment!

       This week, for our science experiment we did the Dyed Flower Experiment. I found the one I followed here: http://theimaginationtree.com/2013/03/dyed-flowers-science-experiment.html  but there are a ton of other places that give pretty much the same instructions. We bought some white flowers ($4.68 at Walmart) and some food coloring, which gave us yellow, red, blue and green. We cut the flowers shorter, got some water, put it in a cup and then added as much food coloring as we wanted. Then....we waited...and waited some more... lol. The boys were actually pretty good about waiting to see what happened, and did a great job drawing what they saw! I tried taking pictures of the flowers after sitting for two days, but they don't really do them justice. They're so pretty! Wyatt said the red one was beautiful. :-)  Fun times!
